About Mary's Boat Livery
Located on one of the most scenic rivers in Massachusetts, the North River in Marshfield, we offer
pleasure boating facilities for most everyone. We provide mooring space for approximately 100
power boats. We offer day rental boats for the novice or the experienced mariner. Our launch ramp
is available for those who would like easy access to the North and South Rivers and is only 10
minutes from Massachusetts Bay. At our dock we do have marine gasoline, bait and some snack
foods. And we steam the best hot dogs on the North River.
Our marina is a family business. We have been in operation since 1948. We are Jane and Jerry
Duffy. Jane grew up here as a child. Jerry is an import but has adapted well and we think we will
keep him. Both have been running the marina for 22 years and like to think will be at it for another
22 years.
We have a small staff of high school students to man the fuel dock and the snack bar.
Our normal season starts on or about May 15th and ends on or about October 15th. When we do
start for the season we are open every day from 7 AM to 7 PM.
